How do I replace the mower’s spark plug?
1. Clear out the region around the spark plug of any dirt
2. Take out the spark plug after disconnecting the cap
3. Inspect the plug visually to ensure that there is no corrosion or cracks and use a wire brush to remove any deposits. If the plug has eroded at the contact points, it is necessary to replace it with a new one.
4. Use a wire-type feeler gauge to measure the spark gap and ensure that it is between 0.6 – 0.7 mm (0.024 – 0.028 in)
5. Thread the spark plug back in by hand carefully after ensuring that the washer is attached
6. With the help of a wrench continue to tighten the spark plug until it seats well, ensure that it can move no further before continuing.
7. Re-install the spark plug cap
