How do I adjust the engine’s throttle response?
1. Push the throttle lever forward towards the ‘Start’ position
2. Now carefully the move the carburetor’s choke arm I the counterclockwise direction, until it refuses to move further. Use your finger to ensure that the entire limit of travel has been completed.
3. Loosen the cable’s lock nuts and proceed to move the adjuster up or down in order to make any necessary adjustments. You’ll need to determine the ideal air fuel mixture required based on your surroundings – the hotter the temperature, the lesser the ratio required.
4. Tighten the lock nuts before rechecking the choke arm’s position on the carburetor
